DailyBrain
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DailyBrain (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the App.
[Local storage] Unless otherwise stated in this Policy, your game progress, scores, achievements, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this information to servers that we control or operate.
DailyBrain is a local brain-training and puzzle-game app. It does not require you to register or sign in, and it does not actively collect personally identifiable information for an account system. In particular:
If you use the system Share feature to share a score card with another app, the related data flow is governed by the system and the destination app. The App only generates a temporary image to the extent needed to complete the share action you initiate, and then hands it off to the system.
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect certain information:
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:
Important: Firebase Analytics is designed primarily for product and aggregated analysis. For more information, see Google’s documentation: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically detect and report app crashes and errors so we can fix issues and improve stability. Crashlytics may collect:
Crash reports may include technical diagnostic information such as stack traces and device state at the time of the crash.
Important: Crashlytics is used primarily for technical diagnosis and improving the App. For more information, see Google’s documentation: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Firebase-related data is processed under Google’s privacy policy. For more information, see: https://policies.google.com/privacy
General note: Data collected through Firebase is processed in accordance with Google’s privacy practices and may be aggregated for reporting purposes. It is not used by us to directly identify a specific individual user.
Important: We do not provide a user account system, and we do not operate servers under our control for storing users’ personal game data. Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google’s data retention and security practices; retention periods follow Google’s rules.
To provide related features, the App declares or may use the following permissions (the final merged application manifest on your device and system version prevail):
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS |
Used to show daily reminder notifications after you enable reminders (requested as required by the system on Android 13 and above). You may turn this off at any time in the App settings or system settings. |
android.permission.INTERNETandroid.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE(may be merged from dependencies) |
Used by Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to transmit usage and crash-diagnostic data in accordance with Google’s privacy practices. This network access is not used to upload your game progress, scores, or preferences to servers that we control or operate; we do not use this permission for our own cloud sync or user-account purposes. |
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK(may be merged from dependencies) |
May be merged in by Firebase or related dependencies to help diagnostic or analytics components run reliably for short periods when permitted by the system (subject to the libraries’ actual behavior). |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDand related advertising-services attribution permissions (may be merged from dependencies) |
This permission may be included by Google libraries for analytics and install attribution purposes. The App does not currently display third-party advertisements. You may limit ad personalization in your device settings (where available). |
[Permissions not requested] The App does not request the following permissions:
Game and training data are stored in the App’s local storage. When you share a score, the App only writes a temporary image to its cache directory and passes it to the destination app you choose via the system share sheet.
Impact on use: If you deny notification permission, you will not receive daily training reminders, but gameplay is otherwise unaffected. If the device is offline, local gameplay still works; only analytics and crash reporting may be unavailable.
Note: The App only requests permissions necessary for core features or required by dependent services. You may manage or revoke certain permissions in system settings; revocation may affect related features (for example, reminder notifications).
When you use “Share score,” the App generates a score-card image locally on your device and sends it through the Android system share sheet. Subsequent processing is performed by the destination app you choose. The App does not assume separate privacy obligations for third-party apps or websites; if you visit external links or use third-party software, please review their respective privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party apps or services that you choose to use.
The App does not provide online matchmaking, cloud leaderboard sync, social feeds, or user-account login services operated or controlled by us. If future versions add new online capabilities, we will update this Policy accordingly.
We use related information only for the following purposes:
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not trade or rent your personal information for unrelated marketing. Data processing or disclosure may occur only in the following circumstances:
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Data related to core gameplay and settings is primarily processed and stored on your device. When analytics and crash diagnostics are transmitted via Firebase, industry-common transmission and protection measures are typically used (such as HTTPS, subject to Google’s implementation). We do not use your local game scores for sale or for purposes inconsistent with this Policy.
Local data retention: Local game data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Retention of data processed by Firebase follows Google’s rules.
The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information for marketing from children under the age required by applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have processed information related to a child, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps after verification as required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page (or at the same in-app link), and the “Last updated” date will be revised. If changes are material, we will provide notice in an appropriate manner as required by applicable law. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may have the right to know about, access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of information related to you. For information processed by Google through Firebase, please refer to the privacy and account tools provided by Google. Where available on your device or through Google, you may also limit certain data collection by adjusting device settings and advertising/analytics preferences (subject to current system and Google options). You may uninstall the App or clear its data at any time to stop using it and remove locally stored scores, achievements, and settings.
